Tucked behind the jagged peaks of Guan Ying Shan and surrounded by pineapple fields, MAK’s 10-acre campus is spacious, idyllic, and peaceful. Facilities include two science labs, two music rooms, an art room, and a large multi-purpose hall.
Our library has approximately 20,000 print volumes, including a substantial Chinese language selection, and through Morrison’s inter-library loan service students have an additional 60,000 volumes at their fingertips and thousands more through our quality online databases. Our library space is filled with computers and is adjacent to our computer lab.
Outdoor athletic facilities include two outdoor basketball courts, one covered volleyball court, a natural grass soccer field, a smaller practice field, and a track. MAK’s full-size gym is air conditioned to accommodate for Kaohsiung’s hot summers, and our new high school wing also features a spacious weight room. MAK’s elementary recess area has two playsets, two small soccer fields, and a reading deck.
