On February 7th, 2009 our students were given a unique opportunity to learn about Taiwan's aboriginal culture through a partnership with World Vision. Our students went to Mei Lan village in Taoyuan county to meet with a group of local children. They sang songs, read English books, played group games, and had a local aboriginal feast! In the afternoon our students also learned about local farming and had the chance to put in their own Ginger crop! It was an amazing experience that taught us a lot about one of the people groups that live near our school. Check out the pictures to see what it was like!
