 Dear parents, students, staff members, and friends,
I trust you all had a wonderful and relaxing summer and are ready to begin a new school year at Morrison Academy Kaohsiung (MAK)! This year, our school theme will be "Love your neighbor", and the theme verse is:
"The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Galatians 5:14
One of the main points we will be learning about this year as we talk about "love" is that love is more than just a feeling. Rather, love is often a choice that requires a lot of effort and hard work. Hopefully as we learn about love together, God will deepen our understanding of how to love one another more, and give us the strength and motivation to put that love into action.
At MAK, we have been blessed with a super teaching staff, and this year we are welcoming five new teachers to our school:
Mr. Cooper - Technology coordinator and Secondary Math
Ms. Hatcher - English Language Learners (ELL)
Mr. Harrison - Technology coordinator and Art
Ms. Osiowy - Secondary Math
Mr. Wardle - Secondary Science
At MAK, our entire staff is committed to providing a well-balanced approach to education for students in a loving and nurturing environment. We aim to accomplish this not only in our challenging academic courses, but also by providing opportunities to learn and experience music, sports, art, technology, and much more.
