  • Annual fund
    • Raise funds towards common projects that will enhance student learning
    • Last year projects:
      • Smartboards and projectors for ELL rooms and library
      • Software (quizhub and AR online)
      • Reading deck
      • Furniture for library
    • For this year, instead of doing an annual fund, we are considering raising funds for typhoon relief instead
      • Look for opportunities to tie in educational purposes
      • Identify a specific project that the school can work towards
      • Possible field trip to project area so children can experience first-hand
      • Possible partnership with local school so our students can build relationships with their students
      • Empowers students to make a change
    • Should still leave a percentage of funds raised for school project
  • Abuse and the role of the confidant (See attached information)
    • Receives complaints from individuals who believe that their harassment report was not adequately addressed
    • Confidants will report complaints to the superintendent, who will investigate the complaints
  • School measures against spreading of disease
    • Measures the school is already taing:
      • Checking students' temperature daily
      • Regularly cleaning common areas with bleach solution
      • Children washing hands regularly throughout day
      • Serving lunches in bento boxes
      • Students taking bus given a mask each morning
      • Visitors to school having temperature taken
      • These measures will last until Sept. 11, and then re-evaluated
    • PAC thinks these measures are adequate, and that we should continue to be vigilant against the spread of disease
