All people are creations of God designed to know and glorify Him through their lives and action. Therefore, Morrison's physical education program recognizes that our bodies are temples of God to be appropriately cared for and used in developing a mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually balanced life.
Quality physical education should promote - through a variety of physical activities- each student's optimum physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual development, and should also promote activities that all students can enjoy and pursue throughout life.
Every year at MAK we compete in a whole school track and field day called "Games Day", designed after the Olympics. The students are divided onto teams that represent Countries. The students will compete for their country in running events and field events such as: 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, high jump, shot put, discus, etc.
Middle School Athletics:
The middle school (6th-8th grade) will compete in 4 different sports: Volleyball, Softball, Soccer, and Basketball. Each sport will end with a tournament either in Taipei or Taichung.
High School Sports - The JVB (9th grade) will compete in 3 sports:
Boys - Soccer, Basketball, and Track and Field
Girls - Volleyball, Basketball, and Track and Field
Each sport will end in a tournament or meet.
