Art at MAK is about enhancing childrens' creative abilities and helping them express their individuality, communicating ideas about themselves and the world around them. The art department seeks to be a center for experiencing this creative expression and a resource to the greater MAK community.

It is our goal to support the learning that is already taking place in the classroom, not only by providing materials needed for hands-on projects, but also by integrating art into various subjects across the curriculum.
